Raising Support Update #4

Each week that goes by means a week closer...yet at the same time it feels like it's so far away! This is going to be the longest month of my life, but there's a lot to do so I'm okay with it going slow...

As of right now I have $1,100 in for support. The reason for the very small increase between last week and this week is that I was able to by my plane ticket! It's official! I have my deposit, I have my plane ticket, so I will be leaving for Kona on September 29th at 8:00am!

It's starting to feel more and more real. I have my plane ticket in hand, I have the money for the deposit in the bank, there's nothing stopping me at this point from getting there. The biggest thing is trusting that the rest of the money will come in. I know it will, because I know it's what I'm supposed to be doing, but it can still be a little stressful when I think about it all.

One way I'm raising money is by having a fundraiser at Blue Rock BBQ! It's next Wednesday (the 17th) from 11am-9pm. They've agreed to donate 20% of the proceeds to my trip! If you'd like to come out and support me that would be awesome! Simply print out the flyer (see below) and bring it with you to the restaurant. I'm also going to be having a fundraiser at Pizza My Heart in a few weeks.
